Tessenderlo Disaster Museum Website
For the full-stack course in our first year, we were tasked with creating an application for a fictional company of our choice. We decided to create a website for a museum dedicated to the Tessenderlo disaster. In this project, we built a website using basic HTML and CSS. The new challenge in this project was establishing a connection with a back-end database. We had to ensure our pages could retrieve information from this database and that we could send POST requests from our pages.
Each team member had to create two pages; I was responsible for the “About Us” and “FAQ” pages. We also collaborated on the homepage. On my pages, users could contact the museum via a form, and the FAQ questions and opening hours were dynamically retrieved from the database.
